Your First Consultation
Your first visit begins with an in-depth discussion – not just about test results or reports, but about you. I start by reviewing your medical history, family history, and prior imaging, followed by a focused clinical examination.
If needed, I may request additional tests such as mammograms, ultrasounds, MRIs, or biopsies, all tailored to your specific situation and risk profile.
During this visit, we'll discuss:
- What your findings mean in plain language
- What next steps are needed (if any)
- How can we plan these steps around your comfort, schedule, and preferences
Every consultation is private and confidential, and, upon request, a female medical team can be arranged to support you throughout your visit.
After a Diagnosis
Receiving a diagnosis – whether benign or malignant – can be overwhelming. My role is to help you move from fear to understanding. We'll review your results together, step by step, and discuss all available options.
If cancer is diagnosed, I coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team that includes radiologists, pathologists, medical and radiation oncologists, and plastic surgeons when reconstruction is needed. You'll never face fragmented information or rushed decisions. Every recommendation is evidence-based and personalized to your medical, emotional, and lifestyle needs.
Treatment and Surgery
If surgery is part of your treatment plan, we'll discuss all details in advance – including the surgical approach, expected recovery, and options for reconstruction if needed.
My approach emphasizes less invasive, tissue-preserving techniques whenever medically safe, and I collaborate closely with plastic surgeons to ensure the best aesthetic and functional outcomes.
Before the operation, you'll receive information about what to expect on the day of surgery and how to prepare.
Afterward, I personally check on every patient postoperatively and ensure that pain, wound care, and mobility are managed effectively.
Recovery and Follow-up
Healing is a process, not an event.
You'll be scheduled for follow-up visits to monitor recovery, review pathology results, and discuss any additional treatments or preventive steps.
If needed, I'll refer you to specialized physiotherapists to restore movements and strength, or to support services for emotional well-being and nutrition.
Many patients find reassurance in follow-up checklists, educational resources, and direct communication with my clinic teams – services that we can provide to ensure that the experience is organized and empowering.
Emotional and Educational Support
Facing surgery or a new diagnosis often raises as many emotional questions as medical ones. That's why I believe care must extend beyond the clinical.
Patients and families are provided with:
- Educational materials about their condition and treatment options
- Guided conversations about body image, recovery and self-care
- Access to psychological or peer-support networks, when desired
You are not expected to go through this journey alone; neither should you.
